~snip~
Apart from browser plugins I can pay with cards. Stealths says a VPN should not be used to activate their cards so which virtual card suppliers can I send BTC to get an anonymous card?

The option you mentioned is no longer available (for now) but has been replaced by a new card, so check if the conditions suit you. Generally, such cards do not have KYC, and most of them include conditions that VPN must not be used during activation, although I can confirm that I have used VPN with such cards several times and have never had any problems with it.

Maybe the thing is that I'm using a specific VPN (it's part of the security package), and not one of the usual ones whose servers/IP addresses are very easy to blacklist.

Another option comes to mind, if VPN is not an option and if you want to remain somewhat anonymous, you have the option of using a public WI-FI and that way buy a card and make the payment.

I visited Stealth's updated page before so the new card was am option. The VPN condition is removed in the new product but they do not offer QR code payments for direct payments. They use Cryptomus with AML policies. Checkout options are USDT, LTC, TRX, ETH, XMR, BNB, SOL, BCH. They accept Bitcoin Cash but not Bitcoin.

Another option comes to mind, if VPN is not an option and if you want to remain somewhat anonymous, you have the option of using a public WI-FI and that way buy a card and make the payment.
It is a good option to fall on if I need it. Asking about the VPN and card activation in the Stealth topic now.

@SensitiveEyes, I obviously overlooked what you needed and was referring to a card that was recently removed from the offer (Visa Global) which had an item on not using VPN during card activation. Regarding their payment processor, I read your post and it's really strange that they don't accept BTC, but also to buy a card you have to have what is called "clean coins" these days.

This is completely the wrong approach, because as a client I cannot know where all these coins were before they came into my possession.

Stealths is not an option because Cryptomus will use their AML policy to stop payments if they wanted. They should not exclude BTC or ban payments from eXch. I am disappointed with Stealths.

I think I prefer phantom wallet to all these since it's Kinda decentralized too.

It seems to me like Phantom is a controversial choice from your part as the crypto-community-concerns on its vulnerability are growing. The wallet has been criticized for storing "private keys in unencrypted browser memory," and right now Phantom Tech is facing a lawsuit "for alleged negligence after a security flaw allowed hackers to steal over $500,000 from its wallets".

Given these issue I would advocate for safer wallet to safeguard your stash.

Browser based wallets are not safe. The crypto economy site says Phantom were storing private keys in unencrypted inside the browser which is why hackers attacked the swap function. Safety analysts should have noticed it was weak before the $500,000 hack.
