I believe that "Bitcoin Capital" of the world should be a place where Bitcoin has been LEGALIZED 100% + a region that acts as the "Silicon Valley" for Bitcoin based Tech Companies + the "Switzerland" Bitcoin Custodial and Payment Services + the "New York" for Bitcoin Capital Markets.
NO ONE can claim that "X or Y" is the "Bitcoin Capital" of the world yet.
This way, we'll never have a Bitcoin capital. I proposed that each year there be a "Bitcoin capital," similar to the World Capital of Culture, where a new capital city would be chosen each year as the most technologically advanced and best performing with Bitcoin, in terms of Bitcoin transactions, open laws, etc. We could have a new capital city each year, and this would serve as good publicity for Bitcoin's global spread. This capital city could also be chosen by vote at the annual Bitcoin conference.

^ Imagine the yearly meetings to choose said capital and have honorable mentions in the adoption here and there spread in between.. I think that would be nice to have!

However, if there were an honorary capital of Bitcoin, I would give it to El Salvador, because it was the first country to officially adopt Bitcoin, at a time when all countries in the world rejected it.
I get that logic but some people might even argue that the bitcoin capital of the world should be country where people use bitcoin the most. This is why this title should just not exist because it will be such a complicated thing that each country have to fight over. It’s just about bragging rights. and to promote their country more. Good analogies. We can call it in different worlds and see it differently, but there definitely will be a buzz regarding the term going forward, and then we will discuss why it's reasonable or not by then BUT from the current state of those different regions/countries that are trying to be "the Bitcoin Capital of the world", which one of them is currently leading to ACTUALLY BECOME the Bitcoin Capital of the world? The United States, El Salvador, Singapore, Dubai? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Plus will it actually take decades before we have a "Bitcoin Capital"?

Trump has said that he wants to make the US the crypto capital of the world. Dubai has been called the emerging crypto capital. Few countries in Asia predominantly Hongkong, Singapore and India are all fighting for the spot to be the biggest crypto hub. Africa does not fall behind with Nigeria being their largest cryptocurrency market.
It is quite unclear where Europe stands with all of this. Anyway, I mentioned all these countries because it got me thinking which one really is or would be the bitcoin capital of the world? We know how nationalistic and patriotic people can be. They always want their country to be the first of everything and anything. And besides, who wouldn't want their country to be friendly to crypto when it benefits you directly as a citizen?
But the thing is, I do not believe there could be a one true bitcoin capital of the world. Bitcoin is decentralized because it does not have a single authority making decisions without others agreeing to it. Bitcoin does not have one focus point. It is distributed everywhere. So, would you agree that there is or at least there shouldn't be a bitcoin capital of the world despite the efforts of Trump and others? Or do you already have a city in mind that you consider as bitcoin capital?
I always thought that my small country was an undeveloped country (in reality, it's a developing country) compared to the rest of the world but as I grew up, I managed to travel in a very few European countries and I'm shocked, it feels like my country is more developed in terms of tech. Here payment machines are available everywhere and you can pay bills or send money to someone or do whatever you want with these machines. It's very fast and easy to use. I've not seen anything similar in Paris and Milan. We have been implementing blockchain technologies since 2017. We have also partnered with BitFury, Binance, Tether and other crypto companies to create innovations and implement them in real life. I'm shocked that economically powerful countries do not have that ambition to be the number one in innovative technology but it's good for us because it gives us opportunities and helps our economy.

Trump is riding this wave like anything.
Truly speaking, bitcoin does not have any sort of capital. But I think what Trump has meant to say, is that the crypto based companies are welcome to visit the USA and open offices. Obviously the backend of this is taxation and payments to the government which is Trump once again.
I do welcome anything that supports the adoption of crypto, so this is nothing bad. Depends to see how many actually come here instead of the tax havens where they are already running their offices from.

Trump is well known for that and he's been successful for joining the trends. That's why everything became easy to him and he's been successful to implement those things that he like to happen. For sure they see lots of opportunity to gain from those companies that's why instead of trying to get rid of them. Trump take advantage to invite him and provably ask for taxes when they operate on their jurisdiction. Somehow this is good, but hopefully they are fair to those businesses and will not be greedy to ask huge taxes from those companies.

Many - will - come and already change their stances on BTC - which is good, and there is more to come. And surely - profit is still in the middle of everything we discuss there.

I don't know if it's possible to happen since it has a scarce supply available for everyone and not all will be able to afford it in the future if price goes higher. But if there was going to be one, it should be a "real bitcoin-friendly" country. Meaning people really use bitcoin on their daily life, businesses accept bitcoin, and blockchain technology is being integrated to their education system. Being a country that is the largest holder of bitcoin won't qualify for me if the government is the one who owns it. It's not good to see them as a bitcoin capital if citizens don't know ir how to use bitcoin.

As it was said by you and others - Bitcoin capital is where BTC is used the most, and regulated in the best way out there. Others may think differently, but that's a good point

Bitcoin can honestly be called the main money on the planet. And not even because it is decentralized, but because everyone knows about it and everyone uses it. I am glad that I have the opportunity to help my parents by sending cryptocurrency to them in another country, since all money transfer services have closed. And this situation occurs in many countries, but thanks to Satoshi, this does not hold us back. And I love the feeling of enthusiasm and freedom when I send cryptocurrency to the other end of the world. It is very important that no one limits our possibilities in life.

Though we are not nearly at the point where BTC is widely used and accepted everywhere - that day would probably come. And we can be sure of it, the question is only when, not if.

BUT from the current state of those different regions/countries that are trying to be "the Bitcoin Capital of the world", which one of them is currently leading to ACTUALLY BECOME the Bitcoin Capital of the world?
The United States, El Salvador, Singapore, Dubai?
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Plus will it actually take decades before we have a "Bitcoin Capital"?
Even if we define it now and choose it now in our heads, it can all change in a few years or a decade, so.. we can't be sure, just see what unfolds in front of us.. But the actual point is how to define it empirically, and objectively - NOT how to define it in our own heads. There must be an agreed point of when a country or region has achieved a state where it has reached a status as a "Bitcoin Capital". Plus it doesn't have to be one Bitcoin Capital. There can be one in every continent/region of the world. Parts of North America, South America, different parts of Asia, Africa, and Europe.

You can actually use bitcoin whenever and wherever you want (<Shakira fan rejoice). If you want to convert bitcoin to fiat then you will be facing restrictions - now we are trying to see a world where bitcoin can be seamlessly spent for daily needs but this world is far for near. Hence we should help spread awareness about the proper use of crypto and not just promote shady stuff running crypto and trying to evade the law enforcement. Trump wants to increase his own wealth so his government is doing all this stuff.
